Groups

Create groups for joint purchase planning and plan together via chat messages!

Check login

  • Open Lister
  • Click on the icon at the bottom right to navigate to the settings
  • You will see your name and profile picture at the top if you are logged in. At least you will see your email address
  • If you are not logged in you will see Sign up for free now!.

Create group

  • Open Lister
  • Click on the icon in the upper right bar
  • Type a group name in the new view
  • The group name cannot be changed afterwards
  • If necessary select a dataset from the drop-down menu
  • This will help saving time to type in items
  • You can find detailed information about groups and datasets directly in the described view in the app

Send group invitation

  • Open Lister
  • Click on the three dots on the right edge of the blue group bar
  • Click on Invite to group
  • Click Share link
  • Choose how you want to send the invitation

Join group

  • Click on the link to view it in a browser such as Firefox or Chrome
  • You will be redirected to the Lister app and the group will be joined
  • After a few short seconds you can return to the list overview and see the new group

Send chat messages

  • Open Lister
  • Click on the 1st icon from the left – the message icon – of the group
  • In the new view type your message in the text box at the bottom of the screen
  • Click on the Send icon in the lower right corner
  • You can also send pictures by clicking on the camera icon in the text field

Receive chat messages

  • Messages are received automatically and all group members are informed by notification
  • To receive messages Lister does not have to run in the foreground
  • Click on a notification to open the chat view with the new message
  • In the list overview unread messages in groups are marked with a green dot on top of the message icon
  • Messages are sent within a very short time
  • If you do not receive any messages, this may be due to network reception issues or system power settings, which you can adjust
