There are categories in a shopping list. How to activate the manual item sort order?

There are two ways to change the sort order of a shopping list.
- Open Lister, you see the overview of the shopping lists
- Each list has three dots on the right hand side
- Click on the three points and then click Edit
- In the editing view, you can set the sort order in the drop-down menu
- Finally, do not forget to save
- Open Lister, open a shopping list
- click on the name of the shopping list at the top. There is a small pencil under the name, which signals that if you click on it you can edit the list

Now back to the overview page. There, click on the three dots.
Click on Edit in the menu.
Now you will see all sort order options. Select one of the two manual sort order options.
Click on the check in the upper right corner to save the change.
Go back to the shopping list. In the example list, the apples appear before the onions because they were added first. Now click on the three dots at the top right.
Click on Manuall sort items in the menu
Sort the items in the order you want them to be. In the example Apples are pushed under Onions. Click on the check in the upper right corner to save the change.
Subsequently the shopping list is displayed again and the items are arranged as you have just specified.

You can also navigate to the editing view within a shopping list. To do this, click on the name of the shopping list in the top bar.
Is it still not working?
Then you have most likely set the global sort order for shopping lists. Switch this off again! Here's the guide:

- Scroll to Global sort order and switch it off
